It is possible to have other wip folders and switch between then however you will only be able to access the files in the currently selected wip folder. So, if you have 2 wip folders named WIP1 and WIP2 and you have WIP1 as your current working folder, you would only be able to access the files in WIP1. To access the files in WIP2 you would have to change the WIP folder by clicking on the wip folder name and selecting WIP2.

IDFMAKER WINDOW AUTO CLOSE
This app will automatically close the idfmaker window when it has finished packing/unpacking files. I discovered that if the window is open and has focus, if you press the return key it closes. So the app sends an 'enter' key press to the idfmaker.exe window and then checks to see if the window is still open. If it is still open then it waits 800 milliseconds and then sends the 'enter key press again. it will do this 10 times and then will assume that there is a problem. if the window remains open for more than 8 seconds then you will need to close it manually before continuing.
HOW PACKING SINGLE IDF'S WORK
idfmaker.exe will only pack all folders in a given directory and so to pack a single folder, that folder needs to be moved to a temporary location. This location is your temp folder (usually c:\my documents\your name\local settings\temp\).
The process for packing a single map is as follows (The same process is used for vehicles):
1. Create a data\maps\ folder in your temp directory
2. Copy the selected map folder to data\maps\ in your temp directory
3. Copy idfmaker.exe to your temp folder is it isn't there already
4. Change the active folder to your temp folder
5. Run the command "idfmaker.exe maps"
6. Move the created idf file and folder back to your working maps folder
7. Delete the map temp map folder
It may happen that files are not copied/moved correctly or the temp folder cannot be deleted. If this happens the EasyIDF will display an error message to let you know. Try the operation again and it it still fails you may need to delete the temp files manually. To do this go to the File menu and select Open Temp Folder. There should be a folder called data there, open it and delete any folders inside it.
